đŸ—žïžÂ 2022 Programme

GAS Analysis 2022 was a 4-day event with parallel sessions covering themes responding to the world’s challenges. The symposium provided a unique opportunity to exchange knowledge and to collect information on market and research developments in the field of gas analysis.

The Organising Committee is working hard to compose an inspiring programme, taking into account the experiences and feedback from previous editions. The outline of GAS Analysis 2022 will be slightly different compared to previous editions.

Session themes symposium

GAS Analysis 2022 will offer two full days of lectures in two parallel sessions. For this edition, we distinguish four main session themes :
1. Advances in gas metrology

2. Industrial innovation

3. Energy transition:

3-1 The journey towards decarbonisation
3-2 Hydrogen

4. Climate and air quality

The first parallel session is placed on Tuesday 17 May dealing with "Advances in Gas Metrology" and "Industrial Innovation".

The second two parallel session will occure on Thursday 19 May with the themes "Energy Transition" and "Climate and Air Quality". The session Energy Transition is divided in two sub-sessions named:
- The journey towards decarbonisation
- Hydrogen

Each lecture lasts 15 minutes, plus 5 minutes of Questions/Answers and 5 addtional minutes to move from a room to another if needed.

Short courses

After successful introduction of short courses at GAS Analysis 2019, we will again offer participants the opportunity to take part in short courses. This time, the short courses will not ‘compete’ with lectures, making lives what easier. By offering several short courses, in parallel with poster presentations, we are confident that there is a topic of your interest as well. Moreover, attending a short course will be awarded with a certificate of participation.

Poster session

A dedicated poster session will return to GAS Analysis 2022. They will be displayed all the symposium long in the exhibition area, the core location of the event. This year, two time slots are dedicated for the poster session on Wednesday 18 May:

- in the morning from 11.00 to 12.30
- in the afternoon from 13.30 to 15.00

During these poster sessions, the author of the poster will present her of his poster, will answer any question or discuss research results in more detail. Prior to the poster session, authors will be encouraged to pitch their poster in our ‘Gas Analysis Hub’ in order to attract more experts to their poster.
